Mark Neibart has twenty years of experience helping primarily middle market companies improve their Information Technology systems and Operational capabilities.  In 2002, Mr. Neibart founded Neibart Consulting, an advisory firm serving private equity investors’ information technology and operational needs.  Frequently he is involved in pre-acquisition due diligence.  Post-acquisition, he assists portfolio companies in developing IT and operational strategies, selecting and implementing packaged software, and in carrying out business process improvement programs.

In a twelve-year stint at Deloitte & Touche, prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Neibart gained diverse consulting and management experience in a variety of roles including:

  •       Senior Manager, Merger & Acquisition Services.  Mr. Neibart led a team that established a new service line focused on the Information Technology and Operations aspects of M&A transactions.  He served both private equity and strategic buyers in conducting IT and Operations due diligence, and in managing post-merger integration activities.

  •       Senior Manager, Information Technology Strategy Services.  In this position, Mr. Neibart advised clients (typically CIOs and CFOs) on the strategic use of Information Technology to address business needs. Areas of expertise included analysis of current systems, identification of business and technology requirements, selection of packaged software, negotiation of IT contracts, and management and quality assurance of IT implementation projects.

  •       Manager, Business Process Reengineering.  Mr. Neibart led numerous business improvement projects that helped clients achieve significantly better financial and operational results.

Mr. Neibart graduated with an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
